Carry on learning in March: Quest CPDs and Sarah at GESS
Where has February gone? The time is whizzing past and thank goodness the future looks brighter for us all, wherever we are in the world. Vaccines are being rolled out and the tantalizing view of returning to a more normal practice is definitely on the horizon.
For the month of March we have lots of exciting CPDs planned and there is also GESS to look forward to. For those of you that have not attended GESS in person before, (the face to face event has been moved to November 2021), the good news is there is a virtual GESS event on the 23rd and 24th March which allows you to access lots of free sessions and a chance to look at new resources and products from the comfort of your own laptop. I am hosting a panel discussion with 4 panelists from China, the UAE and the UK. Join me and the panelists for a one hour discussion:
The way ahead for the Early Years sector; local and global influences on change and their implications for practice.
We will discuss whether the pandemic has made families appreciate early years teachers more, staffing challenges to the sector, the increased need for training and what age is best for children to start formal schooling.
Look out for more details of this session soon.
The Quest CPDs range from advanced safeguarding to making your classroom a happier place, the excellent and interactive Makaton Level 1 and Level 2 courses to the promoting literacy and physical development sessions – there is something for everyone to access from the comfort of their own armchair! These sessions will be delivered by your favorite educational team, please see our CPD page for more details. We hope you can join us for some of the sessions and re-energise your practice!
Take care,
Sarah
