When working with young children, it is likely that difficult behaviour is one of the most challenging issues that you face in your classroom. Challenging behaviour can be hard work to manage, but it is important to consider the situation from the child’s perspective: children rarely misbehave for the sake of it; rather there is an underlying cause that needs to be identified and supported.
This course provides learners with the knowledge they need to respond positively and appropriately to a child’s challenging behaviour. The course teaches you how to improve children’s behaviour in a positive and constructive manner and put in place positive strategies that prevent challenging behaviour as much as possible.
