The Level 2 Certificate in Managing children’s Positive Behaviour in an Early Years Environment supports learners in developing their knowledge and understanding of how to effectively support positive behaviour in the early years environment.
This course is suitable for teachers and teaching assistants. Learners should be at least 18 years old and hold a full Level 2 Early Years/Childcare qualification or equivalent. Learners do not need to be working in an Early Years setting to undertake this course.
How will I be Assessed
You will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include tasks such as coursework, designing leaflets or methods such as oral questioning and discussions.
How will I be Taught
Learners will be taught in a classroom setting by experienced and knowledgeable tutors. On completion of the course learners will have a deeper understanding of what behaviour is, be able to effectively support positive behaviour with a range of strategies, discover the impact different types of behaviour have on an individual’s learning and be able to work more effectively in partnership with others.
What can I do after this Course
Upon achievement of this qualification, learners will have enhanced their practice and be more equipped to manage positive behavior in the Early Years. This qualification supports progression on to Level 3 qualifications.
